Details :

Flight Lieutenant, (now Squadron Leader) Jogendra Chandra Hazarika has been a Flying Instructor since November 1965. During this period, he has flown approximately 1,600 hours, which include about 1,300 hours of instructional flying. Prior to his posting as an Instructor, he was serving in an operational Squadron in NEFA. He worked with zeal, imagination and devotion and made considerable contribution towards the flying standards of the Squadron. His performance during the Chinese aggression in 1962 was creditable.

Throughout, Flight Lieutenant Jogendra Chandra Hazarika displayed professional skill and devotion to duty.
