As commander of Air Force Station New Delhi in 1979. There had been severe floods of the Jamuna and a number of villages were inundated with water. We helped look after the villagers that had been evacuated. Mrs. Latif, wife of the CAS, is in the photo. She had organized a group of Air Force ladies to provide food, blankets, etc. for Burari village in northern Delhi.
