Pete Gautam

Popularly known as "Pete", Pilot Officer Padmanabha Gautam, (4482 GD(P)), moved on to fly Canberras and distinguished himself in the Congo, 1965 and 1971 Operations. He was one of the highest decorated Officers of the IAF before his demise in a MiG-21 crash in 1972.
