Ronnie Engineer, the 'Boss' of the Squadron - shown here - was marked as 'Hasim Chacha'. Ronnie was the only DFC awardee from the Second World War who commanded a Jet Fighter Squadron in the IAF. All other DFC awardees were much senior to him and had moved on to higher ranks before the Jets ever came in.
