His proposals on standards for hydraulic particle count and hydraulic oil during receipt of aircraft from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has been implemented as the new acceptance benchmark. Earlier as Senior Engineering Officer of a MiG-21 Squadron his enormous efforts resulted in recovery of six aircraft on ground for prolonged period, within a span of few months. Subsequently, while at Air Force Station, Bhuj during 1995-96, he played a pivotal role in expansion of infrastructure for second line servicing to support the MiG-21 squadrons operating from two adjacent air bases. As Director at Directorate of Engineering A, Air Headquarters, his initiative for conduct of first Operators' Conference for MiG 21 Bison aircraft during January 07 was hailed as a benchmark format that paved the way for similar follow up by other fleets.
