Polnochny Class

Commissioned into Indian Naval service in February 1985, INS Cheetah L18 is the second in the Polnochny Class of amphibious warfare vessels. She has a military lift capability of 196 tons including five Main Battle Tanks plus 180 troops along with their vehicle crews.
