Spitfire XIVs of 4 Squadron fly in their trademark "4" formation. This was a frequent sight on the days running up to their going to Japan and after.

Spitfires TZ165 and Unknown at Miho. The aircraft had adopted an all silver paint scheme with black anti-glare panels on the nose. Both the aircraft are adorned with the Oorials emblem - which at that time consisted of the Oorial head embossed on the map
