HQ South Western Air Command Communication Flight Date Raised : 1980-07-23 Location : Ahmedabad SWAC Comm Flt was setup as No. 1 Group Comm Flt when the No. 1 Group was formed at Jodhpur in 1972. Its primary role is communication duties for the HQ. It was initially equipped with Dakotas, then Avros and briefly also Dorniers.
