He was intimately associated with planned Air Transport Operations including Logistics support, heliborne operations and airborne assault during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. Placing service before self he has all along gone beyond the call of his normal duties. Awarded Vishisht Seva Medal for his selfless devotion to duty and distinguished service of a high order. | |||
