| Details : | Wing Commander Prajual Singh (21809) Flying (Pilot) was commissioned in the Indian Air Force as a pilot in the Flying branch on 13 Jun 92. He has previously been Joint Director Air Defence at Air Headquarters, as also been the Flight Commander of the acclaimed Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT). Wing Commander Prajual has been Commanding Officer of the SKAT since 28 June 2010. Under his leadership, the team has successfully demonstrated its capabilities across the country and has been instrumental in showcasing the prowess of the IAF to audiences all over. He has continuously innovated to introduce new manoeuvres and profiles into the team's displays while simultaneously ensuring flight and demonstration safety alongside adequate training of its members. He has put his administrative abilities, keen observation and foresight into ensuring that the team has achieved high serviceability of its aging aircraft. Despite working under severe constraints of resources, the team has continuously achieved exceptional performance in its displays which have been thorough in planning and flawless in execution. For exceptional devotion to duty, Hon'ble President is pleased to award 'Vayu Sena Medal (Devotion to Duty)' to Wing Commander Prajual Singh. | |||
