Anthony Keim, US Navy Quartermaster 1st Class (at right) and Michael Brown, US Navy Quartermaster 3rd Class (at left) fold and retire an American flag flown aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Trenton during her final commissioned day in Norfolk, Virginia on 17 January 2007. She was transferred to the Indian Navy on the same day. USS Trenton's last deployment - after 35 years of active service with the United States Navy - involved her responding to Joint Task Force Lebanon while deployed, assisting over 3500 American citizens evacuate the war torn country in July 2006. The flag was taken to the Naval Historical Society at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington DC for display.
