An oil-on-canvas painting of INS Tir. This particular painting is placed at Naval Headquarters, New Delhi. INS Tir was the former HMS Bann, a River Class frigate of the Royal Navy that served as an anti-submarine convoy escort in the North Atlantic during World War II. She was transferred to the Royal Indian Navy on 03 December 1945 and was converted into a Midshipman's Training Frigate, by the Mumbai Dockyard, in 1948. She was decommissioned from Indian Naval service on 30 September 1977.
