Location : Dalhousie
The Air Force Station HQ and SCC are located on top of Motitibba hill in the heart of Dalhousie town at the height of 7300 feet. Dainkund, where the Relay Station is located, is on top of an isolated hill at the height of 9300 feet and at a distance of 16 kms from Mobitibba. Both the sites were surveyed and acquired by RCPO for Air Force during 1971-72. Construction , a challenging task, commenced during 1973. It also included construction of 6km road between Lakarmandi and Dainkund and improvement of of the 10 km stretch between GPO and Lakarmandi.
