No.151 Operational Training Unit


Date Raised : 1942-06-01 Disbanded : 1946-03-31 Location : Risalpur
Formed at Risalpur under the control of No 223 Group as No. 1 OTU (India). Redesignated as 151 OTU on 28 July 1942. It operated Mohawks, Hurricanes and harvards to train fighter and ground attack pilots. In August 1945, it was transferred to No. 1 Indian Group and in March 1946 it moved to Ambala before being disbanded and absorbed into AFS (I) Ambala on 1st April 1946
