NCC HQ ( (Rajasthan)


NCC Directorate, Rajasthan In Rajasthan, the National Cadet Corps was started in 1949 with only three NCC Units, one each at Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur with 200 cadets in each unit. In the absence of any Circle Headquarters in Rajasthan, these units were affiliated with Headquarters No 7 Circle, Cadet Corps, Delhi. With the expansion of NCC, Headquarters 14 circle, Cadet Corps was raised at Jaipur in 1954. In January 1963, the Circle Headquarters was redesignated as NCC Directorate Rajasthan. It has four Group Headquarters located at Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Kota. There are now 36 units scattered all over the State covering 112 colleages and 222 schools.
