MOFTU Braveheart Squadron Date Raised : 2003-06-23 Location : Bagdogra The squadron was carved out of MOFTU at Tezpur and moved to bagdogra on 26 oct 2006. The wartime role of the sqn is CFSO and peacetime role was to carry out MOFT training of pilots on the MiG-21FL. It was adjudged the best fighter squadron in EAC in 2008-09 and 2009-10. 23 Feb 2008, Hawks were inducted in IAF. HOTS B imparts Stage III training to trainees.
