256 Signal Unit Skyguards

256 Signals Units, Air Force was formed at Ambala on 15 Oct 1966 with P-30(M) radar. The Unit was raised with an overall plan to upgrade Air Defence System. The initial task of the Units was to train Technical Officers and airmen on the P-30 (M) radar system.
