10 Tactical Air Centre Date Raised : 1982-05-01 Location : Bhatinda After raising of 10 Corps on 01 Jul 79, 10 TAC was formed on 01 May 82 with its nucleus initially at 34 Wing. The first Commander, Gp Capt MC Kappen took over the command of 10 TAC on 04 Apr 83 and shifted the centre from 34 Wing to its interim location in EME OTM Complex, Bathinda Military Station on 23 Apr 84. The centre remained at its interim location till 16 Jan 05 and then moved to a new complex, co-located with the new building of HQ 10 Corps, on 17 Jan 05.
