8 Pilot Course - Officer candets reports to ITS Lahore on 14 April 1941 for ground training and completed the same on 24 May 1941. Thereafter they were split for elementary flying to No.1 EFTS (Secunderabad) and No.2 EFTS (Jodhpur) flying the Tiger Moths from 24 May 1941 to 3 sep 1941. After EFTS, the group joined SFTS Ambala (Flying Harts and Audax) on 4 Sep 1941 and was commissioned on that day. The course completed SFTS intermediate and Advanced stage flying on 14 Feb 1942 and recieved wings on that day.
