37 Pilot Course - Reported to ITW Poona on 10 April 1945 and completed initial ground training by 31 Augst 1945. Subsequently they went to 2 EFTS (Jodhpur) from 2 Sep 1945 to 14 Dec 1945 for basic flying. Awarded Commissions on reporting to 1 SFTS (Ambala) for Intermidiate flying on 7 Jan 1946. Attended SFTS from 7 Jan 1946 to 29 June 1946. Subsequently the Course attened AFS (I) Ambala for advanced flying from 9 Sep 1946 to 7 Feb 1947. Majumdar Trophy for best all round pilot - F/O SJ Dastur (1792), Jodhpur Sword of Honour - P/O Pomer (3299) and Nabha Trophy P/O NC Bhatnagar (3294)
