31 Pilot Course - This consisted of two distinct groups. First was that were the part of 30th Course from 2 EFTS at Jodhpur were delayed due to Maintenance issues and were commissioned on reporting to 1 SFTS (Ambala on Harvard) for advanced flying on 9 April 1945 as 31 Pilot Course but with seniority same as 30 Pilot Course. The other group were those selected for 31 Pilot Course and jointed ITW on 3 August 1944 and progressed subsequently to EFTS. Both these groups merged and attended 1 SFTS from 9 April 1945 to 30 July 1945 for advanced training. Subsequently the Course attened 44 Fighter Course at 151 OTU from 15 Aug 1945 to 30 Nov 1945. For six of the course members, this was followed by 9 Spitfire Course at 151 OTU from 1 Dec 1945 to 10 Jan 1946. At the OTU they were joined by candidates from SFTS (Canada) who also called themselves to be part of 31 Pilot Course.
