After GDOC moved to AFA in 1974, 1975 saw No.1 BCC (Branch Commission Course) and No.1 PCT (Pre course trg) for Direct Entry cadets (ex Airmen and ex NCC) start at AFAC. No.1 PCT started in June 1975. They joined the ex NDA lot (49th NDA) at Bidar for flying training in Jan 1976. This course that did a 2 year training before being commissioned in June 1977 along with 119 PC. They were given a 3 months ante date commission
