Details : | During the operations against Pakistan in December, 1971, as a pilot of a front line Fighter-Bomber Squadron, Flight Lieutenant Kuldeep Singh Sahota flew thirteen missions in support of our ground forces. He destroyed four enemy tanks and a few heavy guns. On two occasions, information brought by him about enemy tank concentrations in Chhamb-Jaurian Sector resulted in planning of subsequent missions, which destroyed these enemy tanks. In this action, Flight Lieutenant Kuldeep Singh Sahota displayed gallantry, professional skill and devotion to duty of a high order. | |||
