Additional Notes

Remarks: Note Note added: 2018-01-18
Inder Batra 9084 died in a hunter crash while I was posted in hindon 7 Sqn I think in 1968. Dates not sure . How this happened is destiny as in so many accidents. Batra returned from Bombay late sat night after his engagement and the next morning switched positions for ORP WITH SM GHATATE 8665 (name misspelled). The other pilot was Batra’s CM ...GS RAI war casualty. As was customary on Sunday the orp ac would get airborne short of sunset for PI with the controlling SU. Batra got Rai to agree for a port formation take off and he touched wings at unstick and flipped over and crashed.
