| Details : | Flight Lieutenant Suhas Vasant Javadekar was posted to an operational transport squadron in the Eastern Sector on commissioning in December, 1964. He qualified as a Captain in September, 1967 and has subsequently flown 1630 accident-free hours. These include 1026 hours on operational serties in NEFA, Nagaland and Mizo Hills areas. In the process, he has carried out 820 landings and 509 Supply dropping missions on Advanced Landing Grounds and Dropping Zones. A sound, mature and methodical pilot, who, by his ready acceptance of difficult commitments and their successful completion, has inspired his collegues with confidence. Throughout, Flight Lieutenant Suhas Vasant Javadear displayed professional skill and devotion to duty. | |||
