Details :

Gp Capt Madan Mohan Joshi has been in Command of E & ITI since 08 Jan 90. A professionally competent officer, he was commended by the CAS for his innovative exploitation of the ECCM receiver through modification. He was again commended by the CAS in 1987 for maintaining and sustaining a very high state of serviceability of technical resources continuously for two years. Earlier in 1977, he was commended by the AOC-in-C Training Command for developing innovative training aids at AFTC.

As CO of E & ITI, Gp Capt MM Joshi has ceaselessly worked and achieved significant improvements in all spheres of training activities. It was due to his perseverance that the Institute was able to set-up a large number of training/teaching aids and facilities like flight safety complex and Computer Centre.

Gp Capt MM Joshi, with sustained efforts, not only improved the quality of training but also brought about an attitudinal change amongst the trainees and instructors. The result was evident in the Institute winning overall Inter-Institute Trophy.

For his professional competence of a very high order, devotion to duty and dedication to service, the President is pleased to award Vishisht Seva Medal to Gp Capt MM Joshi.
