| Details : | Flight Lieutenant Baljinder Singh Sidhu (8107) General Duties (Navigator) was commissioned in the Indian Air Force in December 1963. During his short service career, Flight Lieutenant Sidhu has shown high professional skill and initiative. At present he is serving in an operational Squadron whose personnel are handpicked. During his tenure at the Squadron, he has undertaken a large number of operational sorties which involved flying over difficult terrain and at times through inhospitable weather. Undeterred, he volunteered for these flights. Throughout, by his devotion to duty he has been a great help to his Squadron Commander in the planning and execution of the special tasks assigned to the Unit. | |||
