Details :

Squadron Leader Sharma was posted to a Base Repair Depot after completing the post graduate course in Electronics and Control Engineering from Cranfield, U.K. He has not only performed the allotted functions of Industrial Engineer but has solved a large number of production problems thus helping maximise production. He developed a layout plan for the abinitio installation of Navigation System in a bomber aircraft. He was also associated with the development of a warning, radar system where he was responsible for design and fabrication of essential components of the system, fitment in the aircraft and flight trials. He has successfully designed and fabricated Antenna lifting jacks for surveillance radar of an Air Defence Complex.
