Details :

Squadron Leader Ravindra Nath Paul has been on the strength of a heavy transport squadron since 1968. He has flown a total of 6080 hours of 2100 hours have been flown on operations over and NEFA areas. As a Flight Commander, he displayed remarkable organising ability in the planning and execution of assigned tasks. He himself is very keen and competent flyer and has inspired squadron pilots by his personal example.

During the operations in December 1971, Squadron Ravindra Nath Paul flew six low level night missions, displaying outstanding professional airmanship of exceptional order.
