Details : | Squadron Leader Kevin Martin obtained his Flying Instructor's qualification in December, 1961. Since then he has served as a flying instructor and is curretly serving as the Assistant Chief Instructor at the Air Force Flying College. In his present appointment, he has flown a total of 1470 accident free instructional hours. The significance of this achievement lies in fact that an instructor must leave his pupil to handle controls as far as possible, so that lessons are properly learnt and skill is properly developed. Throughout, Squadron Leader Kevin Martin displayed professioml skill and devotion to duty in the best traditions of the Indian Air Force. | |||
