| Details : | During the hostilities with Pakistan in December, 1971, Squadron Leader Ramesh Chander Kohli was attached to an operational Bomber Squadron. He successfully flew a number of missions deep into enemy territory which involved penetration into enemy radar coverage, against well defended targets. He was a source of inspiration to his colleagues and junior pilots of the Unit. Throughout the operations, Squadron Leader Ramesh Chander Kohli displayed gallantry, professional skill and devotion to duty of a high order. | |||
