Squadron Leader Roy while working as Senior Accountant Officer of a Base Repair Depot improved the administrative systems and processing procedures which facilitated in optimum utilization of man power. He was also responsible for organizing a system by which airmen and civilians were paid at their respective places of work thus saving productive man hours. Due to his efforts Life Insurance Corporation Salary saving scheme for non gazetted civilian employees was introduced. This resulted in high morale and a sense of well being among the civilian employees.
