Prior to his present appointment as Staff Officer to the Chief of the Air Staff, Wing Commander Navin Chandra Bharma had served on the personal staff of the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Air Command, and the Vice Chief of the Air Staff. The operational appreciations and plans of the Air Force have passed through his hands. In dealing with them, he has displayed a high degree of intelligence. His execution of important tasks has contributed greatly to effective planning and operational control of the Air Force. He has worked long hours under considerable pressure without any regard for his personal comforts.

Throughout, Wing Commander Navin Chandra Bharma has rendered distinguished service of an exceptional order. .
