Details :

Air Commodore Corindra Kumar Singha was commissioned in the Indian Air Force. He has served in several operational units and at Command and Air Headquarters. He was the Director of Armament and Safety Equipment at Air Headquarters for a long period before he retired from the Air Force in July 71. He was subsequently recalled to active duty.

As Director of Armament and Safety Equipment he undertook the task of developing and modifying the available weapons systems in aircraft of diverse origins in order to improve their striking power and made significant contribution in this sphere.

After being recalled, Air Commodore Corindra Kumar Singha was assigned certain special duties to which he applied himself with untiring zeal. He made a significant contribution to further increasing the offensive potential of the Air Force. With his high professional skill, zeal and devotion to duty, Air Commodore Corindra Kumar Singha has rendered distinguished service of an exceptional order.
