He was instrumental in achieving enhanced availability of training aids like ACMI launchers, bomb simulator plugs, Data Loaders and training missiles through relentless staff-work. The initiatives taken by WAC in enhancing the training status and op orientation of the RPA fleet and Garuds in WAC have been approved as benchmarks for training in IAF. Through his keen operational orientation, the officer reformatted the conduct of Eklavya with near-realistic op settings. He was involved in planning and conduct of various trials undertaken to enhance the op-employment of our combat assets. The highly professional and safe conduct of the Air Force Day Fly-past in 2013, 2014 and the Republic Day Fly-past in 2014, in-spite of unusually inclement weather conditions is a testimony to the officer's decision making capabilities and professionalism.
