Details : Group Captain Rajamanickam Srinivasan (18327) Administration was commissioned on 07 Jun 86. He is on the posted strength of HQ Eastern Air Command (EAC)with effect from 08 Feb 10. Group Captain Srinivasan has an impeccable profile as an Administration officer with considerable professional exposure as Senior Administration Officer / Chief Administration Officer (C Adm 0), Examiner in GEB and TEB, Assistant Provost Marshal, Deputy Provost Marshal (DPM)and CO (U)EAC. As Deputy Provost Marshal (Vigilance),he was responsible for issue of AFO 09/05 on Vigilance. In addition to his contribution in raising the first Garud Flight, he had planned and conducted the first joint exercise of Garuds with PACOM at Honolulu. As C Adm 0, AFAC, Coimbatore, he had contributed to development of training infrastructure of a very high standard, for which he was commended by AOC-in-C, Training Command. His proactive and professional approach has contributed to surpassing of targets in his current assignment as Command Works Officer at HQ EAC. He is responsible for release of 271 Low Budget Works (LBW)for EAC AOR by 31 Dec 10. For units like Singharsi and Missamari, he undertook to release, as well as complete, projects that have significantly enhanced infrastructure and quality of life at these Stations. He was also responsible for timely completion of Annual Maintenance Works Plan (AMWP) 10-11 Boards due to which Eastern Air Command exceeded the allotted budget by Feb 11. His intense interaction with the MES hierarchy resulted in the commencement of over 100 LBW and 60 AMWP projects in the current fiscal itself. Through close monitoring and effective guidance, he has allocated the budget to all Units in an equitable manner, thereby giving fillip to development activities all across EAC AOR. Apart from projects, he has published a Handbook on Works for Commanders, to enhance their knowledge on Works matters. His contribution in having the works completed at Air Force Station Bagdogra in a short span of six months resulted in the successful conduct of President's Standard Presentation. His professionalism, innovative approach and absolute commitment to Service have been of exceptional standard. His analytical approach and close interaction with Stations have contributed to enhancement of quality of life in Stations across the EAC, AOR. For distinguished service of high order, Hon'ble President is pleased to award 'Vishisht Seva Medal' to Group Captain Rajamanickam Srinivasan.
