Details : | During the operations against Pakistan in December 1971 as a pilot in a Fighter-Bomber Squadron, Flying Officer Mohan Dikshit flew several sorties. He flew as a wingman on a strike mission and damaged a bridge in spite of heavy enemy defence. In the Pathankot sector he damaged four marshalling yards and the canal headworks. While on a close air support mission he destroyed few gun positions in the Chhamb area. Throughout, Flying Officer Mohan Dikshit displayed gallantry, professional skill and devotion to duty of a high order. | |||
