Tomasz is fascinated by Indian Navy warships, as in his words, "They are interesting and very rare for me, because I live on the other end of the world." He has personally seen only two Indian Navy vessels, the guided-missile destroyer INS Mumbai and the guided-missile frigate INS Trishul. He was a guest aboard INS Trishul, during her visit to Gdynia harbour, Poland in 2003 where he met the then commanding officer of INS Trishul, Captain (now Rear Admiral) Surinder Pal Singh Cheema. He has also seen the training tall ship INS Tarangini. He says that Indian Navy warships are "really nice-looking" and his favourite is the Delhi Class of guided-missile destroyers.
