Firefly [IN 112]

The Mk.1 variant of Firefly, was used by the Indian Navy primarily in the target-towing role and these aircraft operated from INS Garuda in Cochin. Seen here is IN 112, which is one of three Firefly TT Mk.1s delivered in May 1955, the other two being IN 114 and IN 115. Two Mk.1s [IN 111 and IN 113] were delivered earlier on 14 February 1955.
