Firefighter Personnel

Firefighter personnel of INS Viraat on board the vessel, during the Western Naval Command's Families Day at Sea held on 08 January 2006. Note the fire-retardant suits & shoes worn by the sailors and the dry chemical powder/foam tanks used to douse burning aviation fuel, in the event of an aircraft crashing on deck.
