A Sea Harrier [IN 608] launches from the flight deck of INS Viraat on 04 September 2007, during Exercise Malabar 07-02. The aircraft was lost on 11 September 2007 - on the last day of the exercise - when the aircraft's Pegasus engine lost power, forcing the pilot (Lieutenant Commander A Jain) to eject.
