American and Indian Navy ships steam in formation as part of Exercise Malabar 07-01 in the Philippine Sea on 09 April 2007. The bilateral US-Indian Navy training exercise is being held off the coast of Okinawa, Japan to increase interoperability between the Indian and US Navies while enhancing the cooperative security relationship between the two countries.
