Shakti A57 (31 December 1975) - decommissioned in 2007

Displacement: 6785 tons light and 15,828 tons full load.

Measurement: 12,013 gross.

Main Machinery: Two boilers, one steam turbine with 16,500 hp and 1 shaft.

Maximum Speed: 18.5 knots.

Maximum Range: 5500 miles at 16 knots.

Complement: 169 personnel.

Cargo Capacity: 1280 tons diesel

Comments: The Shakti was usually based at Mumbai. She was decommissioned in 2007. Automatic tensioning fitted to replenishment gear. Heavy and light jackstays. Stern fuelling as well as alongside. DG fitted.
