The Boeing 777 "VT-ALC" christened Assam enables Air India to provide direct non-stop service between India and the US. Air India has taken delivery of two aircraft "VT-ALA" Andhra Pradesh is the other. A third aircraft "VT-ALB" Arunachal Pradesh will arrive soon.
