Tupolev Tu-124 Meghdoot at the IAF Museum

V644 Meghdoot is the sole survivor of three IAF Tu-124s used as VIP transports. One Tu-124 (V643) crashed spectacularly at Jorhat in 1977 and killed the cockpit crew. However many others aboard the aircraft, including the then-incumbent Prime Minister Moraji Desai, survived the crash.
