A rare colour picture of a Packet taking off from Leh airfield with the dorsal jet pack on top. The IAF operated 79 Fairchild C-119G Packets starting in 1953. They were procured during the following years 1953-54 (26 aircraft), July 1960-61 (29 aircraft) and May 1963-64 (24 aircraft).
