The Airshow was marked with daily displays of several aircraft by the Indian Air Force, HAL, the Army Aviation Corps and the Western Exhibitors. The inaugural day display had something extra. A mammoth formation of two Sukhoi-30s, two Mirage 2000s , two HPT-32s led by an ALH!. The formation aerobatics by the Surya Kirans and the Mirage Aerobatics Team kept the audience mesmerized. Not to mention the solo display by the Su-30 MKI from No.20 Lightnings Squadron.
Day One's flypasts included Jaguars, Cheetahs, Dhruvs and a lone high altitude flyby by the LCA TD-2 aircraft, captured in this photo by Seetal Patel.
