Ex-Thunderbolt Hunter

Delivered to the IAF in 1967, A484 was one of the original aircraft of the Thunderbolt Aerobatic Team, before its final innings with the Banners. Hawker Hunter F56a A-484 seen at the ramp. The aircraft sports two Rocket pods under its wings. Hunters familiarity with the High altitudes of Leh resulted in despatch of two Hunters to Ambala in June 1999, to be used in the High Altitude ops of the Kargil fighting.
