Images Airshows, Visits & Excercises Airfield Visits Agra in the 90s: A call to nostalgia Canberra T.4 of the Lynx

Canberra T.4 of the Lynx

A trainer version of the Canberra at AFS Agra and is parked at the main Apron for the 106 Squadron. Notice the PUMA and a drawing of the same, painted on the nose of the aircraft. The name LYNX is painted on the tail of the aircraft in white. Also note that these aircraft had a somewhat different paints scheme as compared to the Transport aircrafts at the same base. Within themselves as well, a number of different paint schemes were seen. This one is in a two-tone top camouflage and a single tone bottom paint scheme that matched with the actual Reconnaissance versions of the Canberra within the same Squadron. However, the Target Tug variants were either painted orange overall or at the least had a underside painted in orange with the top side having the standard two tone camouflage seen here.
