A very happy grey eagle!

The Chief of Naval Staff,Admiral Arun Prakash,VrC smiles for our camera after landng from his sortie. After qualifying as F-Ops on the IN's Seahawk carrier-based fighter,the then Lt.Prakash was posted to 20 Sqn IAF on an exchange appointment.He served with the squadron in the 1971 war and earned a Vir Chakra for his precise and devastating strikes. He had the unique distinction of being invited as the Chief Guest for the Golden Jubilee.
Another relatively unknown link shared with the squadron is that his uncle K M Ram raised the squadron on Vampires back in 1956.
